"Arte e o Cruzamento de Culturas" explora como a migração e a globalização moldam a arte contemporânea, impactando identidades, memórias e raízes culturais. Este Art Salon abordará o papel da diáspora na preservação e reinvenção de tradições, a influência dos mercados globais na valorização da diversidade cultural, e como bienais e instituições promovem diálogos interculturais. Por fim, questionará quem decide quais vozes e narrativas são amplificadas, revelando as dinâmicas de poder no mundo da arte. O Art Salon será precedido por uma visita guiada à exposição “Linha de União”, da artista chilena Camila Lobos Díaz, com curadoria de Verónica de Mello.

"Art and the Intersection of Cultures" explores how migration and globalization shape contemporary art, impacting identities, memories, and cultural roots. The Salon will address the role of the diaspora in preserving and reinventing traditions, the influence of global markets on the appreciation of cultural diversity, and how biennials and institutions promote intercultural dialogues. Finally, it questions who decides which voices and narratives are amplified, revealing power dynamics in the art world. The Art Salon will be preceded by a guided tour of the “Line of Union” exhibition by Chilean artist Camila Lobos Díaz, curated by Verónica de Mello.
