POR:TA is pleased to announce its inaugural Open Call, dedicated to supporting the disciplines of Visual Arts and Music. The grant, totaling €20,000 (up to €10,000 for Visual Arts and up to €10,000 for Music), will be awarded in these areas. 

 

Candidates are required to submit a proposal demonstrating their artistic vision and outlining how they plan to utilize the grant to achieve their goals. We encourage all applicants to provide a clear and compelling proposal, in the terms of the Regulation made available.

Launch Date: April 18th, 2023

Submission Deadline: May 18th, 2023

Decision Date: June 18th, 2023

Grant Prize: Up to €10,000 for Visual Arts and up to €10,000 for Music

HOW TO APPLY

  1. CV
    (no more than two pages and no more than 5MB)

  2. Artist statement
    (no more than one page and no more than 5MB) 

  3. A portfolio of your past work
    (no more than 10 pages A4 with description and no more than 10MB max)

  4. Website, social media
    (if applicable)

  5. Project proposal
    Your project proposal should be a clear and compelling presentation of your vision with a very detailed plan of what and how you plan to create with the grant money. It should be clear on scope, medium, execution and the timeline needed. 
    (up to 750 words, no more than 10 pages A4, max 10MB) 

  6. Timeline
    Provide a timeline that outlines the steps you will take to complete the project and when you expect to finish and present the project.
    (no more than one page and no more than 5MB)
